I’ve just tested on a clean WP:
- WordPress ver 2.7.1
- WordPress for BlackBerry ver 0.9.0.140 and 0.9.0.119

- I’ve created a new post, and marked it as “draft”. It is not showed into rss feed.
- changed the status of the post from “draft” to “publish”. It is showed into rss feed.
- changed the status of the post from “publish” to “draft”. It is not showed into rss feed.

did you tried with the default theme and no plugins activated?

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a fix? I'm using WP 2.7.1 and version 0.9.0.119 of the BB app.
